Opening hours
The campsite is open for motorhomes and caravans from November 1 to December 21, 2025, and from March 2, 2026.
The campsite is completely closed from December 22, 2025, to March 1, 2026.
Provided Services
What we offer our guests during the winter months:
- 7 pitches on hard ground with electricity connection (6 amps)
- An open, heated sanitary facility with hot showers and washbasins, toilets, and washing-up stations (secured with a door code – guests receive this after booking and payment)
- A service station for emptying chemical toilets
- Hot drinks machine and snack machine in the sanitary facilities (CHF coins required)
- Washing machines and dryers for laundry (CHF coins required)
- Emptying service station for mobile homes (no running water in the outdoor area for refueling)
- Free Wi-Fi in the reception area
- Restaurant zur Alten Eiche (Gilde Restaurant) on the campsite
Please note that from November to March, services at the campsite are only available to a limited extent.
Online booking
If you would like to stay at the campsite in winter, you must make a booking via the online system and pay for your pitch in advance by bank transfer (possible if booking up to four days before arrival) or by credit or debit card via the online terminal (for short-term arrivals up to 3 days before the arrival date).
All important information about your stay will be sent to you by email after you have made your reservation and payment.
Reception opening hours
In November, December, and March, the reception is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and, if necessary, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for check-in and check-out/registration and deregistration.
Please note, however, that no power adapters are available for guests to borrow and no other services are offered at the reception.
Barrier closure
From November 1 to November 30, 2025, the barrier will be closed from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
From December 1 to December 21, 2025, and from March 2 to March 31, 2026, the barrier will be closed from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m.
From December 22, 2025, to March 1, 2026, the campground will be completely closed and the barrier will remain closed.
While the barrier is closed, it will not be possible to enter or leave the site.
Electricity on site
Please note that we have Swiss “Type J” electrical connections at the campground. You will not be able to connect to the electricity supply without a Swiss plug. Each power connection has a 6-amp fuse. You can therefore use an electric oven for heating. The power supply is too weak to cover this.
Video Surveillance
The entrance area is monitored by cameras. The owners live on site.
